I'm New Here – What is Arisia?

Each January for over 30 years, the Arisia convention has brought together fans from around the world to celebrate the best and brightest stars in the science fiction and fantasy genres. Based in Boston, our four-day volunteer-run con features unique entertainment and learning opportunities that led to Arisia winning the title of Best Fan Gathering in the "Best in Boston" awards for 2016!

Join our enthusiastic community of attendees to learn, explore, engage, and make merry. Here is a small sample of what we have to offer:

  • More than 400 hours of panels and workshops
  • Concerts, dances, and performances
  • Video and tabletop gaming, and live-action roleplaying
  • A world-class Art Show
  • A Masquerade with entries from Project Cosplay youngsters through award-winning masters
  • A Dealers' Room with more than 50 vendors

Arisia is produced by Arisia, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer-run organization whose purpose is to promote science fiction and fantasy.
